PROJECT FEASIBILITY

DELIVERY SYSTEM & DOCUMENT REVIEW

DELIVERY SYSTEM & DOCUMENT REVIEW

  • Communications between the Owner, Design Professional, Contractor and other consultants
  • Review project goals, objectives, constraints, and relationships
  • Refining and clarifying the Owner’s Program.
  • Assist in site selection, due diligence and/or use of existing facilities
  • Assist in obtaining, reviewing and negotiating cost estimates prepared by others

  •  Assist in the selection of the type of project delivery systems to be used, including any phasing requirements and separate bid packages.
  • Assist in the selection of the Design Professional and other consultants retained by the Owner.
  • Review Owner's Program with Design Professional 
  • Assist Design Professional in determining the requirements

  • Review the preliminary Project schedule prepared by others  
  • Assist in obtaining and/or reviewing cost estimates prepared by others 
  • Assist in obtaining and/or reviewing any updated budget and schedule prepared by others

  • Assist in the development of bid strategies, prequalification criteria and the selection process for contracting with the Contractor(s), Subcontractors and Material Suppliers.
  • Receive from the Contractor(s) a list of possible Subcontractor and Material Suppliers from whom proposals may be requested for each principal portion of the Work.

  • Work with the Design Professional and others to make necessary modifications to construction documents based on input from Owners Contractor(s).
  • Review Contractor’s compliance with insurance and bonding requirements.

  •  Assist in issuing written notices to the Contractor(s) to proceed with the Work.
  • Review the Contractors schedule of values to determine its accuracy and sufficiency. 
  • Coordinate fair and reasonable schedules and operational procedures and monitor and review progress reports.

  • Review the Design Professional's and others' re

  • Attend regularly scheduled construction meetings

  • Determine whether Substantial Completion has been achieved 
  • Assist in preparation of  of items to be completed or corrected to achieve Final Completion.
  • Review Contractors proposed certificate of Substantial Completion and provide recommendation, act upon any directive received 
  • Review all documentation required of Owner's Contractor(s) to a

  • Advise and provide a recommendation to the Owner regarding Work that may need to be uncovered
