After promoting the COO to President, I mentored the President in his new role. Worked on special projects including the coordination and management of due diligence for certain customers. The due diligence included site assessment, geotechnical investigation, Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments, utility investigation, preliminary grading and building plans, attending local jurisdictional special use permit and other required meetings.

Responsible for the profit and loss of each project to meet the company’s expectations and goals. Ran the day-to-day operations of the company. Established standard operating procedures, project reporting requirements, financial reporting and annual company goals. Reported directly to the Board of Directors.
I was hands on with each project the company performed. This included involvement in the pre-construction of the project, weekly site visits (or bi-monthly for projects located in other states), monthly project reporting meetings and interface with owners/end users.
In some cases, acted as the Project Manager when necessary.

Began my career as a superintendent on a 4-story commercial building. Worked my way up through the company as a Project Manager, Division Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President Operations.
I was responsible for the pre-construction, scheduling, budget control and quality control to ensure an on-time, on budget completion to the complete satisfaction of the owner and end user.
Between 1990 and 1994, as a Vice President, I was responsible to establish and manage an Agency Construction Management program to construct multi-plex movie theatres across the country for AMC Theatres. Established offices in 3 locations, Clearwater Florida, Cherry Hill NJ and Kansas City MO as well as overseeing the west region from Irvine CA.
Managed over 70 AMC Theatre projects in 26 states between 1990 and 1994.
Responsibilities included:
· Oversee the Pre-Construction group during site evaluation, preliminary estimating, final bidding and subcontractor qualification and selection.
· Setting up each project location with the assigning and/or hiring of the site personnel to include the Project Manager, Superintendent(s) and Project Administrator.
· Perform job site visits at a minimum of bi-monthly to ensure all projects were on schedule with the utmost of quality.
· Ran monthly meetings at each site to review all job cost budgets and financial reports to ensure all projects were on budget.
